Ashley Chirichella_2160.jpg

ashley chirichella

Coach

Certifications:

  • CrossFit L-1

About Ashley:

By day, Ashley is a Paralegal/Legal Assistant at a law firm. Prior to discovering CrossFit, she had been working out regularly in a global gym with a personal trainer. However, in 2013, she discovered CrossFit and loved the constant variation and challenge that came along with each WOD. She has been a member of SkipJack CrossFit since the day the doors opened! She was hooked and knew that this box was her new home! Ashley has always had a love for the sport of fitness, but recently found the desire to dig a little deeper. The coaching staff at SkipJack has always been so encouraging and pushed her along the way to keep chipping away at her goals both inside and outside of the gym. Being able to help others improve not only their physical fitness, but their mindset is truly rewarding. After her own personal transformation and seeing how she could help motivate others to start their own journey, she considered taking the owners up on the offer to coach one day. Ashley finally took the leap and attended her CrossFit Level 1 seminar and cannot wait to see where this journey takes her!

About Erin:

A life-long Maryland resident, Erin became passionate about health and fitness, particularly with the CrossFit world, five years ago. She joined SkipJack CrossFit two years ago as one of the original members. In April 2018, Erin attained her CrossFit Level I Coaching license. She now coaches both CrossFit and CrossFit Striking classes. As a full-time dental hygienist, wife, and mother of four, Erin still finds time to make fitness a priority. Her goal is to show that CrossFit workouts can be personalized to an individual’s athletic ability and can offer the perfect workout for maximum efficiency when you have little time to spare.

About Corinne:

A competitive runner in what seems like another lifetime ago, Corinne has taken a long hiatus from most athletic activities aside from hauling her three kids around. CrossFit has rekindled a love for fitness and she hopes that her own improvements and successes inspire others who may be hesitant to jump on the CrossFit bandwagon.

Kelly Ramos_2165.jpg

kelly ramos

Coach

Certifications:

  • CrossFit L-1

  • CrossFit Kids

About Kelly:

Before leaving her career to raise her three children, Kelly worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant and treated patients as complex as those with ALS and brain cancer, to sprained ankles and ACL repairs, and everything in between. After completing the Level 1 course in February 2018, coaching has turned into an extension of her physical therapy background; before she was teaching people how to walk again, and now she helps regular people move better and how to be more efficient in their workouts - something that’s lot of fun and really rewarding. In June, Kelly also completed the CrossFit Kids Certification to help kids learn how to move, and how to enjoy fitness so they can pursue it for the rest of their life. Kelly’s best CrossFit moments were when she learned how to do a handstand, a pull up, and learned to climb the rope because those movements were scary at the time. Also, doing the WOD “Grace” in competition and finishing under the time cap was huge in building confidence.
